Pho is a traditional cuisine in Vietnam and is considered as one of the most delicious dishes for breakfast. Pho is a reflection of the culture and history of Vietnam, but no one really knows how pho came to be. It is estimated that Pho has changed much during its nearly 100 year history. This noodle soup with beef is really an ideal dish for people feeling hungry in the small hours of the morning to fill their empty stomach. Pho also needs its special taste and smell. The ingredients for a bowl of Pho is very simple and easy to find but the way to make a perfect Pho bowl is quite an art. The soup for Pho is made by stewing the bones of cows and pigs for a long time in a large pot. Pieces of fillet mignon together with several slice of ginger are reserved for a bowl of Pho with rare beef. Slices of well done meat are however offered to those less keen on eating rare fillets. You could regard Pho with beef as Vietnam's special soup. It has the added advantage of being convenient to prepare and healthy to eat.
Price: The good price for a bowl of Pho is about 30.000 VND- 50.000 VND.
